I purchased this bike about six months ago from a bike shop in Massachusetts. I love it, but it did take a little practice to get accustomed to the smaller wheels. I was a little wobbly in the beginning and there is a surprising little jolt when the e power kicks in and I found that the best way to handle that, at least in the beginning is to keep the power off when I first set off. I felt completely comfortable with this bike within a week.
I did find the seat hard and uncomfortable and purchased a more cushioned seat through Amazon. I'm a happy camper now.
I added saddle bags for purchases, a sweater, bike lock and other gear. There is a rack on the bike with heavy elastic bands that is very handy as well.
Remember that the heavier you load up the bike, the more wear on your battery charge.
I purchased and installed an odometer/speedometer and I am glad I did. I know exactly how far I have pedaled and how fast I am going. Incidentally, I have easily topped 20 mph (caution!) and travelled as far as 20 miles even with heavy wind.
I don't recommend this for people younger than college age.
CON: And the only one, is that it is too heavy for me to lift onto a bike rack. It is, however the lightest e bike I have come across in the research.
